Originally from Sweden, Mia moved to Dublin in 2001 to develop her skills in design, arts and crafts. A trained upholsterer, she also worked on theatre set design, and construction, before eventually starting her own upholstery business.

Una works in collage and cut-out animation. Her work has been widely exhibited and her films have screened at festivals worldwide. Her work is archived in the collections of Dublin City University, and the Irish Contemporary Art Society.

As a camerawoman for RTÉ, Ireland’s National Broadcaster, Únaworks on a range of projects across various genres. The lighting camera operator, or Director of Photography (DOP) works closely with the director to achieve the desired visual effect in each scene.

Trish Long was appointed Vice President & General Manager of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Ireland in 2008. She is part of the Disney International and European teams, while also working across Disney franchises and to grow the Walt Disney Company in Ireland.

Eleanor is a ceramic artist working full time from her studio at Russborough House which is situated in a beautiful part of Ireland. She trained as a nurse and worked in the Operating Theatre for 20 years in a Childrens Hospital in Dublin before changing career. She has always been passionate about the arts.

Claire is a band manager. She started to manage the influential Dublin rock band The Frames after she had her first daughter. Twenty years later, she added other acts and personalities to her roster - Glen Hansard, Lisa O’Neill, Markéta Irglová, Mary Reynolds, The Swell Season and Ruth Evans.

Niki worked as a computer scientist. After the birth of her daughter she got the confidence to give her academic career up and pursue her true passion, design. Now she works with felt and creates handmade clothes and fashion accessories which are sold worldwide.

Róisín is an internationally renowned artist working in large scale glass installation and sculpture since 1982. She studied Glass Design at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, where she later taught for two decades in tandem with her professional practice. For her, the alchemic qualities of glass are a constant fascination.

When Aoife was fourteen years old, she decided she wanted a life in showbiz. She is pretty close working for RTÉ, Ireland’s national broadcaster as a TV Lighting Director. Globally, her role is very male-dominated, Aoife is one of few women who are doing “sparks”.

Una is best known as an actor in Ireland’s national soap opera, however, her heart lies in the art studio where she works alone creating sculpture and multimedia projects. She have studied with and inspirational teacher in Ballyfermot senior college and her portfolio was accepted to the National College of Art and Design where she moved straight into second year of a B.A. in craft design.
