Aoife Brown, TV Lighting Director

When Aoife was fourteen years old, she decided she wanted a life in showbiz. After twenty years of working for RTÉ, Ireland’s national broadcaster, she’s not entirely sure that being a TV Lighting Director was exactly what her younger self had in mind, but it’s a job she loves. Aoife’s work involves a lot of long days, and equally late nights. For her, the programmes she works on are a collaborative process, which allow her to bring her own ideas and creativity to every production. She relishes the fact that no two days are ever the same. When she’s not working, Aoife would ideally be found scuba diving in the deep blue waters off Mozambique, with her dive buddies and lots of big sharks for company.
