Mary Enright, Goldsmith & Jewellery Designer

Jewellery Designer and Master Goldsmith Mary Enright has almost two decades experience in the jewellery industry, both as designer and business owner. The success of her boutique style jewellery gallery and workshop in Kinsale, Ireland brought her much critical acclaim both nationally and internationally which led to a successful solo exhibition in New York in 2016.

Shortly thereafter Mary relocated to the US where she now designs, creates and sells her work exclusively to private clients. Originally from Glin in Co. Limerick, Mary trained as a goldsmith in both Cork and Kilkenny. A very creative person by nature, Mary gets immense satisfaction from seeing something tangible evolve from a simple idea. She enjoys the solitary nature of her work, finding it incredibly therapeutic to get completely lost in the piece she is creating. People bestow sentiment, meaning, emotion and memories on each piece of jewellery. For Mary, it is magical to know a work she creates can hold all of these elements. When she’s not working, she’s Moll, Moa, May and sometimes Nancy depending on whether she is being a daughter, sister, aunt or friend.
