Elaine loves working outside. Her favourite machine is her new Holland tractor T8040 and cultivator. Knowing first-hand how difficult farming is as a sustainable livelihood, Elaine is passionate about the treatment of farmers in Ireland.

Joanne used to be a successful farmer. She was reared on a farm, and loved the way of life she grew up with. However, she became more and more aware of how farming as a way of life had changed, until it dawned on her that it was no longer what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

June was born in West Wicklow, where she still lives on the family farm. Initially, she trained as a jeweller but in 2002, she drifted into gardening, and realised that this was her true passion. Her stunning garden is situated around her home in Tinode. It was included in the list of 'The 100 Best Gardens in Ireland'.
