Caroline Moran, International Event Rider

Passionate about all things horse related from an early age, Caroline’s role model and inspiration was British equestrian and namesake, Caroline Bradley, and her wonderful horse Milton. Bradley was Britain’s top horsewoman, until her life was tragically cut short in 1983 when she was only 37. Already riding race horses, this had a profound effect on Caroline. She was inspired to move into showjumping herself, and from there to eventing.

Four years ago, she fell off her horse and suffered a serious head injury. As a result of that accident, Caroline doesn’t jump anymore, though she remains very much involved in the equine world, running large stables in Kildare with her husband Gordon. Her passions these days include her children, her grandchildren, and her horses. While working with horses is physically and mentally very demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding.
