Our engaging Photography Workshops are bringing people together to create, learn and share.
These inclusive sessions welcome everyone - no prior skills needed! Using mainly their mobile phones, participants are learning essential photography skills including editing their pictures.
These courses are building connections in communities and support lifelong learning. They are incredibly popular because they are fun and interactive and they focus on creativity, and awareness around environmental and social topics. Perfect for all skill levels, they’re an amazing way to discover new perspectives, tell the story through the lens and create new friendships.
Every workshop culminates in a local exhibition.
COMMUNICATING EUROPE WORKSHOP
Last year, we collaborated with Dublin South City Partnership on facilitating the workshop "Seeing the Bigger Picture", funded by Communicating Europe.
This project documented the extraordinary changes in the streetscapes of Dublin South City over the past 20 years. The final exhibition featured archive photographs alongside current images taken by participants, showcasing the transformation of Dublin.
This project highlighted the impact of the European Union on our daily lives. Our photographs were displayed in local community spaces, accompanied by a curated booklet (look inside on the left) and sparked an important discussions about community support and urban spaces that we share.
